Our history

Grupo EME is a company committed to the manufacture, distribution and trade of socks designed and produced exclusively in our factories.
Although we started our activity in 1983, the family business group has more than 75 years of experience in the sector. We combine design, innovation, experience and recognition in the world of hosiery.

Management system

The Management of GRUPO EME, dedicated to the design, manufacture and trading of socks, is aware of the importance of quality and respect for the environment in the sector in which it develops its activity.

In order to achieve the highest qualification, the management has decided to implement a Quality and Environmental Management System based on the following standards: UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNE-EN ISO 14001:2015 for which the management establishes the following principles:

Satisfaction of our customers’ expectations, including the parties interested in the company’s results, in all matters relating to the performance of our activities and their environmental impact.

To establish objectives focused on the evaluation of the performance in terms of quality and environment, as well as the continuous improvement in the activities, regulated in the Management System developed through this policy.

Compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, the commitments acquired with clients and all other regulations, internal standards or guidelines to which the company is subject.

Pollution prevention by minimising the negative impacts on the environment resulting from our services, maintaining these aspects between the appropriate values for quality assurance in the services provided and an adequate level for the preservation of the natural environment.

To analyse the context and the relevant processes of the organisation, establishing the relevant improvements in each case, depending on the results obtained and the objectives established.

Analysing risks, appropriate to the context of the organisation, in order to take measures to minimise them.

Maintaining fluid communication, both internally between the different levels of the company, as well as with clients, Administration and other interested parties, in all those elements of the Management System.

Assess and ensure staff awareness and technical competence, as well as ensure adequate motivation for their participation in the continuous improvement of relevant company processes.

Ensure the correct condition of the facilities and equipment so that they are in line with the activity and objectives of the organisation.
